Um - I don't normally do this, but I spent a damned amount of time fussing over this picture and putting thought into it and crap, so I figured I'd share some of the detail work and the progress scans I made because I'm paranoid. XD Hope you enjoy.
Thanks so much for sharing this ^_^ That is indeed one sexy elbow >3
I love seeing these step-by-steps. I also hadn't noticed the needle holes before :3
Omg that's really cool! I can totally tell you put a ton of work into this O.O!! Amazing I really love the composition of this, it's simple and not cluttered and has a very intrigueing expression to it : )

- Writers should be read, but neither seen nor heard. Daphne du Maurier
Oh god complex. D8 Now I feel guilty about scribbling on things and downsizing so it looks like I put detail into stuff when in fact...
Yeah changing the subject... That's giving away too many of my secrets. Super-secret secrets.
I totally dig the jagged nails, too. You know what it reminds me of, weirdly enough? Did you ever read the book Witches by Roald Dahl when you were little? It totally reminds of the illustration in that. Nothing about the rest of the drawing does, but those jagged nails, and kind of the long fingers do.
I'm guessing there will be a description of what the symbols and stuff around it mean in the actual submission? If not, I'll be forever doomed to hopeless confusion, I guess. Or more like curiosity.
I would never be able to draw that many hands at once. Good on you.

The sixth issue of Artistic Assortments is here! Featuring work from groups and my own personal favourites this week from the people I watch! Please fav the article if you like it, and if you want to get featured, scroll down to find out how.
To help inspire you this month, #project-improve and #ProjectComment have joined creative and collaborative forces to bring you 'An Image Is Worth A Thousand Words' Contest.
The theme of this contest is pretty much as the title states; we would like you to draw on inspiration for a piece of literature that coincides with an image of your choice. The extent of the involvement of the image is entirely up to you.
Both visual artists and writers can take part, so please read the article to find out more!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A city is a place where there is no need to wait for next week to get the answer to a question, to taste the food of any country, to find new voices to listen to and familiar ones to listen to again.
